Three things i liked about this book:
1. It teaches us to write a diary.
2. It teaches us to express our feelings.
3.it teaches us to write down the events in our life in sequence
My favorite part in the book: My Favorite part was when Manny flushes his cereal in his potty seat it`s a great way to fool others.
No i enjoyed this book a lot it was filled with amazing stuff.
My favorite character is Rodrick because he`s always tricking his brother Greg.

(1) It's a comic book.

3- It is a funny record of a boy's daily activities. I liked the pictures as they explain a lot about the story. The events and boy's feelings are expressed in detail which helps understanding what kind of boy he is.
4- I liked the part when he thinks of his journal precious and making money on it when he grows up. The funny thing is that he wants to hide it away from his younger brother as he might destroy his journal. I also liked the part when his brother called him Bubby because he couldn't pronounce his name.
5- The boy has described his younger brother as a total menace. I feel pity for his brother.
6- Greg Heffley is my favourite character because he seems like a real life character. When I read his diary I feel like it happens to everyone.

These are the 3 parts that I liked
1. Greg didn't have to do chores all day long because of his diary, I like it because his brother Rodrick had to do his chores
2. Also when Rodrick woke Greg up at the middle of the night, I liked this part because Greg woke up in a hurry and started getting ready
3. I also like the part when Rowley said “Want to come over at my house and PLAY” because Rowley doesn’t understand anything
I didn’t like the part in which
1. Greg had to sit with morons, I didn’t like this part because if I was Greg I’d tell my mom to change my school
2. Greg had wasted his summer Stevie I didn’t like this part because kids like enjoying their summer vacations and Greg was taking care of a dog
3. And neither did I like the part when Greg and Rowley made a secret language so that they could say anything in front of anyone and at any time.

Rodrick , because I like the tricks he plays on Greg.

3. What 3 things did you like about the book? Explain why?
The three things that I liked about the book are
1. It teaches parents to be protective of their child but not get over protective because then the child won’t learn how to stand up for him/herself and won’t learn self defense, for example when Manny drew a monster on Greg’s door, his parents should have scolded Manny rather than admiring his drawing to protect his feelings.
2. The second good thing about the book is that it teaches children that they should be very honest but it shouldn’t make the other person offended for example when Greg told Max that he was too heavy to be a pro basket baller. In this scenario although he was being honest but he was also offending Max and should have used more polite words.
3. And the last good thing about the book is the lesson that parents should treat all children equally since all along the story Manny is given more preference than Rodrick and Greg.
4. What was your favorite part and why?
I like the part in which Rowley kicks his sombrero and Greg puts a dumbbell underneath it and Rowley kicks it and his foot starts to hurt badly. This is my favorite part because when I saw it in movie Greg’s expressions were hilarious and I kept laughing over it. Also because it showed the creative and funny side of Greg.
5. Was there anything you didn't like about the book? Why
The thing I didn’t like about the book was that it gives children a bad influence for example Greg lies to his parents, doesn’t obey his parents and does bad things so children will think that Greg is good and they will start acting like him and do bad things.
6. Who was your favorite character and why?
My favorite character is Greg because even if he is a bad influence in the book he does good things for example he cleans his mother’s car and cleans the dining table so he is kind of a good child.

4. My favorite part was when Patty and Greg had a play together and Patty started beating Greg up, in front of the whole school and ruined the whole play, i like it because it was funny.
5. The part i didnt like about the book was when the three thieves came to kidnap Greg and Rowley, they hid in their grandma's house as the key was under the mat and their grandma was not at home so Rowley told the thieves that they are home alone.
6.My favorite character was Rodrick because he's cool and a show-off and doesnt take interest in his studies and i like that.
