ReplyDeleteTeacher, I learned that the eye is not one whole piece as it is composed of many parts including the cornea,Iris,lens,pupils,retina and the optic nerve. The cornea is like a layer of glass protecting the eye. The Iris is the colored part in ones eye whereas the pupil is like a gate which lets light enter your eyes.When in dim light a humans pupils grow big but in bright light it grows small. The retina is a part of the eye where milions of light sensitive cells are crammed into an area smaller then a stamp and it sees images upside down
